The Goleta Pier and Slough is an area rich in a maritime-based history dating back thousands of years. From the earliest Chumash through the Spanish and Mexican eras and subsequent Statehood this area has been home to those who have lived on the coast and utilized its resorces for food, commerce and recreation.The links above are to various sources that illustrate that history. |
